Do you like to sing? Want to join an awesome group of LGBTQ and allied singers? You need to audition to be a part of PVOP! We hold our auditions at the William Way Community Center, 1315 Spruce Street, Philadelphia.  Sunday, January 19th, 2014 from Noon to 4 pm will be the next audition time to join!

PVOP has vocalists ranging from expert to novice. Even if you've never sung before, or it has been a while, that's not a reason not to audition. While it is a bonus to read music, it is not required! The artistic director will determine your voice part based on singing basic scales. We do require the ability to match pitch (sing in key).

You may feel free to prepare a piece of your choosing, or the director may ask you to sing a well known song to test for vocal quality. Our Members-At-Large are in charge of setting the audition schedules. You may contact them at membership@pvop.org.
