Unlike other organizations where the direction, vision and programs are set by a Board or a single person, the direction of the Philadelphia Voices of Pride (PVOP) is driven by its members.

A music committee, of which anyone can be a member of, creates themes, picks music and designs the concerts with the input of the Artistic Director. The Artisitic Director, along with the professional music staff, then uses their talents, skill and leadership to drive the chorus members through rehearsal and direction to create a great concert for our audiences.

Marketing and Production committees use the talents of our members to design graphics, create posters, program books, record our concerts and produce CD's.

Our many volunteers and singers walk the streets to meet our business sponsors who can display posters for us. Folding parties, mailing parties and other events to get a concert ready for production act as both a production and social outlet for our members.

All of the members of our committees come from the singing members and volunteers of  PVOP. So you pick the direction of the group.
